Hi,
we have MediaSense using as VoH for years, but now after upgrading CUCM to 12.5 SU3 we have issue with it.
We cannot access any administration settings. Eg. on Unified CM Configuration there is displayed error:
"Error reading Available Service Provider Data due to AXL Service errors. Showing stale data, if available. Check log for further details."
On MediaSense API User Configuration this error:
"Error reading User Configuration Data due to AXL Service errors. Check log for further details."
Is there any changes in CUCM AXL with 12.5 SU3?
As I remember, this was working in 12.5. SU2.

Mediasense has been EOS/EOL for quite some time, and actually is just 16 days away from reaching the LDOS date, there are no compatibility tests with products that are EOS/EOL, so there were no tests for compatibility with CUCM 12.5 at all, and if there was some change to cause that problem, it won't be fixed/updated on Mediasense.

is there any other solution to provide video on hold functionality? If so, is there any documentation about it?

it is identified to be a defect in cucm https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvw23694
please contact Cisco TAC for the workaround
