Been having some issues with the meet me conference. Someone can start the meet me conference no problems. The issue is some people can't join the meet me conference they get fast busy. I'm configured this way. I have the conference bridge set up as Bridge software. In service parameters the meet me max is set to 35. There are never 35 in a conference though most of the time it is 5 to 10. What else should I check? Could it be a codec issue in regions, or maybe software resources. I have not gotten any resources exhausted in RTMT. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

This sounds more like a Calling Search Space issue. Make sure the users who get the fast busy have a Calling Search Space that includes the partition that the MeetMe number is in.

Not a CSS issue. Checked that already. Someone could call from a certain CSS and it work. Then trun right around and dial again and it won't

Hi Stewart.
If you are using software conference bridge, remamber that it supports G711 codec only.

That's most likely the probbelm then. I have 19 regions set up. I have it set to g.722,g.711 to its self, but to the other regions its set to g729.

Just thought of something else. The region settings should be ok. The reason I ask is shouldn't the call get transcoded to g.711? I have transcoders setup in CUCM.

Assuming the CFB has a device pool which has a MRGL with access to the XCODER, yes.
It's all up to your config whether that should work or not.
