Hi All,
I am planning to Migrate our Telephoney System as well as upgrading the system to the latest version to our new Data Center. Currently i am on v10.5 and upgrading to v12.0 or v11.5. The problem i am having is my currently system ip addressing is 172.X.X.X and where we are Migrating is going to be 10.X.X.X. I also want to keep a subscriber at 172.X.X.X at the Old DC. My approach is
1- Clone all my VM to new DC Server with old IP address.
2- Block The Traffic via Firewall ( if possible ) something i am not sure
3- Take a backup and upgrade the system to new Version.
4- Restore the backup
5- Changed the IP adress
6- Changed TFTP and Option 150 IP adress
7- Set a test Device Pool with 2 phone registered.
8- Reset the Device Pool and see if Phone are registered with New CUCM and do a test calls in between.
Open to listen to any suggestions or links that will help me in migration and upgrade successfully.
Thanks a million in advance

Hi,
If you are planning to change the IP address of the target cluster VM apps then you can use the PCD Migration option ( the one that you need is called 'Network Migration' which allows you to change the IP address of the target VM's while migrating the data from source to target cluster ). This will allow both the clusters to be up at the same time and you can plan on pointing the phones and other devices to the new Ip's accordingly.
You can check the following doc and search for 'Network Migration'
There are a couple of good videos as well detailing this process on youtube.

Thanks Manish for replying. I can Only do CUCM and IM&P through PCD but what step/ procedure i would use for CUC pub sub and UCCX pub sub and also VCS-C and VCS-E.
Thanks again for the info !
