I've been thru several CUCM and CUC upgrades but, at least one of them I noticed that there was a missing/blank MD5 Checksum hash in the CUCM OS page just as I was starting the install.
I understand that if it does not match the checksum from when you downloaded it from Cisco/PUT that is bad but, what about when its just blank/missing in the OS page?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
If this is an upgrade file that was downloaded from cisco.com you many download it again by trying to minimize the interference from antivirus, vpn etc and see if the issue persists. I have seen some TAC cases where this scenario was experienced but the upgrade went through and I do not see any bug for this as this has been seen on different versions including 7.x. You may also open a TAC case to have the file published for you and try that.

The odd thing is that I've downloaded from Cisco and have used an MD5 Checksum checker and it matches up after the download. Its once I upload it to Cisco Unified Communication Manager OS and right before the upgrade the MD5 hash is blank.
Thanks,
Dan

Since there isn't any documented defect for this and the MD5 is matching you may check with TAC to investigate further. It might turn out to be a new defect or some other issue within the OS.
