Hi Mohmed,
Have you tried resynchronizing the MWIs?
If you let me know the product and version you're working with, I can find the docs discussing how that is done.
Hope this helps!

Out of curiosity - are you able to call the on and off pilot numbers and trigger the lights that way?
If a box is empty, and you leave a message, does the light remain on, or does it go off?
Hope this helps!

Q. Are you experiencing delayed MWI on-off issue or it does not work on its own, 2ndly did it ever work? hopefully the answers to these questions will lead us in the right direction.

By the way you should post at https://supportforums.cisco.com/index.jspa (technical/configuration related Q's and issues.)

Hi John
As i told you,yes when dialing the MWI ON & OFF pilot numbers, lights are behaving right way.
Even most of the times lights are bhaving in right way but some times only this problem is happening.I Have doubt on DNS resolution.Do you think this might cause this issue?
For your information CUCM & Unity versions are 7.1

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but I think you need to resynchronize the MWI. I end up doing this at least a couple times a year (have no idea why). Anyway, here's what I do, and it seems to work:
1. Log on to your Unity server using a windows account that is an Administrator
2. Navigate to and launch the Cisco Unity Tools Depot
3. Expand the Switch Integration Tool
4. Right-click on Telephone Integration Manager and select Launch Application
5. Expand all items
6. Right-click Properties
7. At the bottom of the panel on the right side, click the Resynchronize Now button
(if the Resynchronize Now button is greyed out, click the check box to the left first)
I would recommend doing this during low use time.

Another thing that may help is to restart the Notifier service.

Hi,
You have not even indicated if you are using Unity or Unity Connection, exact version, concrete issue, without that it is going to be quite difficult for anyone to help, so I commit to help you but I need the GUSI, and I need you to check the port status monitor and let me know if you see Unity trying to dial the MWI for the test extension on one of the last ports.
