Hello Experts,
I am working on a requirement to route calls to external number (out of our network).
When i use the call consult transfer step, it works fine when i transfer the call to extension in our network. But when i use the external number to transfer it fails.
I tried changing the settings at application trigger, directory number settings.
Please let me know if i am missing any settings or steps at script.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Murali.

Make sure you are using the proper access code for the external call (9, for example) and that the calling search space assigned to the CTI ports has access to make external calls.

In addition to Brandon's answer (+5), you need to consider if local route groups are being used on your CUCM, as that means the device pool's LRG will determine where the call is going to be routed.
