Play greeting before ringing phone

Is there a way to play a short .wav file before a phone rings?  I only need this applied to 2 different DN's and that is it.

I am already aware of the option to send the call to CUC Call Hander > play greeting > send to another CH > transfer back to CUCM.  Trying to avoid this, as much as possible.

Hunt Group is not an option either, then I will would have to change the user's DN's and that is not an option.

Any other work-arounds or ways you were able to get it to work?

No other way, CUCM cannot do this natively it does not have this kind of feature/ability.

You can also do using CCX. Route the call to CCX, get the integer, play prompt, verify it, route it back to phone.

I got a similar request from a customer. I am testing in my lab and let you know

The only "alternative" in CUCM is the hunt pilot queue, anything else, requires something like CUC as you mention, or a TCL script.

That is what I figured.  Thanks.  You would think by now something like that would be added into CUCM.  Maybe in the future.
