I have a uc540 and a polycom ip7000 from a previous system. What would be best way to get it to work on my uc540?
Thanks for your help.

Configure as third-pary SIP phone. There are multiple threads on the subject.

I have the same requirement but I was unable to locate any specific thread that deatils how to add a third-party SIP phone.
I did attempt to configure the ephone-dn and ephone, but was not successful in adding the command dtmf-relay sip-notify to the ephone, and I cannot figure out why, but then is this correct programming?
Here are my commands:
ephone-dn 127
number 7927
pickup-group 1
label 7927
description 0123456789
name Polycom Conf Phone
ephone 17
device-security-mode none
mac-address 0004.F2ED.973E
username "EXT7927" password EXT7927
So any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven
