We have 5 CCM Clusters in different locations. We have 1 Active Directory for all clusters and all locations have MOC.
We plan to add Presence to use MOC as a phone client..etc.
My question is...Do I need a Presence server or servers for each CCM cluster or can I use a single Presence server for all 5 CCM clusters.

It depends on the integration model.
If you use CUPS to do MOC RCC (Remote Call Control), you need five CUPS servers.
If you use CUCIMOC plugin, you don't need CUPS at all.

Definitely looking for RCC, not the softphone feature...so I need a separate Presence server for each CallManager cluster to do this?
what is this plugin ? is there a doc about this "CUCIMOC plugin" ?

So are you saying CUPS is going away soon or just not required if you are going to use the CUCIMOC? (assuming the cluster will need to be 7.1)

CUCIMOC is a simpler solution for MOC/OCS customers. It requires 6.1.3 or above.
