Hi all

Can someone help with the above. I have the license file loaded on the publisher for an Advanced HA configuration. When I try and load it onto the subscriber all the options are greyed out and I cannot select the "browse" option for the registration file

Thanks

Hi Simon,

I believe this is working as designed;

In resilient installation, all licensing information is held on the Publisher server, and then replicated to the Subscriber. You only need to license the Publisher - the Subscriber inherits this information via replication.

From;

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucmac/cuaca/10_5_1/install_admin_guide/CUACA1051WAG.pdf

And also;

Resilient Server Installation

  1. Untill CUAC version 9.x, separate licenses are installed on both primary and secondary servers. You will receive two different LACs for both the servers.
  2. From 10.x onwards, all licensing information is held on the Publisher server and information is replicated to the Subscriber server.
  3. There will be no resilience license by default on installation.To install/configure resilience a separate license will be required

From;

Cheers!
