problems when backing unity up to network share

We've performed a unity install recently and we're trying to run a backup to a network share using Unity Disaster Recovery Backup version 1.0 build 95. The backup runs perfectly when we backup to a local drive but when we backup to a network drive (using drive mappings or UNC name) it successfully backs up registry info, switch config files, greetings and voice names, and routing rules but it hangs on unitydb table in sql. The backup just hangs at this point and the backup eventually fails.

The UNC path name is \\chdata\unity

build 115 is the latest version of DiRT - I've added numerous updates for handling off box storage locations to address this including a "two hop" backup option which does the backup locally and then copies it remotely. The bottleneck is SQL does not like UNC paths all the time is very twitchy about permissions - so direct backups to a UNC of a table can fail in many cases.

You can find the latest version of DiRT on its home page here:

it should get you what you need...
