I have a user complaining that when people call him and end up being transferred to voicemail because of RNA, they sometimes get a loud screaching noise during the transfer process. Any ideas what to look at for this? Unity version is 4.0.3sr1

Hi -
My expertise is with a CallManager/Unity IP-based integration, which may not be of help to you. If you are running another PBX brand, please post your information here so others will be able to offer their assistance. Is this only happening to one of your users? Different behavior when the user is on the phone; i.e. busy?

This is a CallManager/Unity integration. CCM is 3.3.3ES58 and Unity is 4.0.3sr1. This is happening to all users but it's intermittent. I now have a TAC case open. It appears that normal operation is that MOH is supposed to be triggered briefly during the transfer to Unity. So, if you call someone and get a RNA, busy, or they're set for CFNA, the call is sent to Unity. During that transfer period MOH is triggered. My end user stated that sometimes they hear brief music during the transfer and then sometimes they hear the screaching noise. So, with TAC, I am now investigating a possible issue with MOH. We are using a fixed audio source and we are multicasting.
