SIP 301 Redirect to the specified contact - Error

CUCM = 11.5

 

Avaya Session Manager ------SIP Trunk--------> CUCM -----SIP-----> Cisco SIP Gateway with PSTN.

 

  • Working Call flow = Avaya H323 IP Phone calls to Cisco SIP phone as an extension, working successfully, vice versa also working successfully.
  • Non Working Call flow = Avaya SIP phone calls to PSTN numbers via ISDN PRI connected with Cisco SIP gateway, calls failing with SIP error (301 Redirect to the specified contact)
  • SIP error is sent by CUCM.

Please tell me what can be tweaked in CUCM so that it can accept this request.

SIP trunk is up and in service.

Can you do a test call via the PSTN and share call traces from CUCM? Please specify Originating Number, Desintation Number and time of the call.

I am getting a "301 Redirect to the specified contact" from CUCM. I have configured SIP Trunk as per avaya white paper.  Can you help ?
