Dear All,

I am running CUCM 8.6 PUB-SUB with two SIP Gateways 3925.

I need to configure the second SIP Gateway as a backup for example if one SIP Gateway goes down then the calls should route from the other gateway.

Can you please tell me how i can accomplish this task.

Your consideration in this regard will highly be commendable.

Simply put them both in single  Route Group. Also, use OPTIONS PING feature which is supported on your  CUCM version and CUBE but needs to be suppored by telco as well.

An option:

You might configure a SIP Trunk that points to a HSRP virtual IP address of both CUBEs and configure the CUBEs in  High Availability (HA) Using HSRP Configuration.
