Spanish language characters on Cisco phones

Sending Spanish characters to a Cisco phones display. The characters display in a terminal correctly but not on the cisco phone. Does the cisco phone (88xx) support Spanish characters? Thanks.

Dustin

Hi Dustin,

Yes, the cisco phone does support extended characters. Can you please provide more details and a screenshot of the issue?

Thanks,

Jorge

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for the response. After a bit of research we see that a spanish language pack needs to be installed on CUCM so that the phones can support spanish characters. If this is true, would you happen to know where I can get this language pack and how is it installed?

Dustin
