SRST and SD-WAN

We're currently in the process of implementing SD-WAN at our branch locations. Each location will have 3 transports, MPLS, internet and LTE. Our ISRs (which are nearing end of life) SRST configure to route to one or two POTS lines connected to FXO ports. Once we have SD-WAN implemented, is SRST really still necessary, or is it just overkill at that point?

That’s a business decision only you can answer. There is certainly a financial argument for eliminating it: reduced telco costs as well as the replacement router (SRST requires DNA Advantage). Ask whomever is in charge of safety/security and legal whether users must be able to call emergency services in that failure scenario.
