Hi,
Up until yesterday the after hours voicemail box for our helpdesk was setup so that a user could call in and leave a message, or if the message was critical then press #2 and an alert would be sent to a pager for the oncall person.
Today that doesn't happen. I can get it to either take a message OR pass through to the pager, not both. Any ideas?
Thanks

Not sure I understand your scenario - pressing #2 doesn't trigger any pager process in Unity... that can be used to over ride a transfer sequence but that's it.
In Unity you can configure a subscriber to send notifications (including pager dialouts) based on messages reaching their inbox of a particular type and urgency (i.e. all urgent voice mail messages) - but that's it. You can't manually trigger a notification event outside of leaving a message in a mailbox.
Are you sure the #2 pager thing had anything to do with Unity?

Hi Lindborg, we got this resolved and you were heading in the right direction with your reply. The problem was that I didn't do the original setup, so I had no idea what had been done. Turns out it was just a matter of setting the message to allow Urgent "tagging" Once the user left a message & pressed #2 it marked the message as Urgent in Unity which in turn fired off a page through the notification device setup.
Thanks for your responce.
