UCM 4.2 & iPhone app

As the title says, I have Unified call manager 4.2 and I'm wondering if it's possible to configure the Cisco Mobile 8.1 iPhone app to connect to the system...

If it is possible, what do I need to do to configre the application?

I got my SEP number/TFTP server entered but now I can't get it to connect to my account/user ID0- verification timed out  (with correct credentials) 

Is there log I can view on the app to show me what is not verifying correctly?

The release notes state pretty clearly that at least CUCM 6.1(5) is required and an 8.x release is recommended. Time to upgrade.
