Hello,
I am working with a customer who currently has ~6000 users on a network consisting of a mix of model 30, 70 and 80's using cornet package 9006.6 with Phonemail 6.4.3. The customer is moving ~550 users to two new locations and is looking at what equipment could provide these users with Call processing and voicemail integration to the existing Siemens network. The customer would like calling name and number as well as either voicemail networking or the ability to light MWI between the systems. Has anyone successfully done this with UCM/CXN and the Siemens equipment listed above? If so any details would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
Craig

Craig,
The Cisco PBX interop lab does test a number of 3rd party products to validate integration and interop as well as configuration. Please check out http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/ns340/ns414/ns728/networking_solutions_products_genericcontent0900aecd805b561d.html for all the PBX's we have tested against.
Unfortunately, we have not tested against any of the models you are discussing. But in general, there are 2 methods of integration that might provide the feature set you are looking for. The first will be via a QSIG link. CUCM can control a GW near the main PBX and CUCM can leverage QSIG to provide name, number and MWI operatoins.
The other method of integration is via a SIP stack. This will provide name and number display as well as VM integration, but you will be challenged on getting MWI working over a SIP trunk.. But even more of a challenge is to get Siemens to support SIP on these platforms.
The last and most reliable way for integraiton will be via standard ISDN. This will provide name, number and VM integration, but like the SIP solution, you will not be able to get MWI. But since it's ISDN, these switches should be able to support it.
