I am in the process of building out a new IM and P environment. I have added the name of the second node in the topology on the CUP Publisher, as well as created the proper DNS entries. Security Password is correct, of course and all services are properly running on CUP Publisher.
During the install of the subsequent node I receive the following during the validity checks. How can I fix this? Everything is virtual running on the same UCS 240 M3 at this point. I cannot telnet to port 8500/UDP for what it's worth but can to 8500/TCP. Does this port need to be opened manually somehow in newest version? I've done a ton of these and never seen this.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have seen a few cases where deleting the Presence subscriber from Application servers on CUCM page and then readding it has helped in fixing the issue. A relevant bug that is still not fixed is:

Thanks, I ended up rebuilding the both the Pub and Sub since it was a new environment. The second time it worked but oddly the processes were identical both builds.Bugs are odd though so...
Thanks for posting bug id.

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for confirming for the benefit of others on support community. Yes, i agree that the bug workaround is more of a hit and trial type :).
