Hi,

User's can no longer be imported from LDAP in Unity Connection.

This stopped working for 2 of our clusters whereas on the other it works fine.

Error "Üser not found in LDAP",however no issues as it works well on third cluster.Import in Call Manager works fine for all 3.

Unity ver:10.5.

Please suggest

Make sure the user is not already imported in CUC.

What happens when you go to LDAP directory and perform a manual sync?

Hi Chris,

User is not already imported in any of the 3 CUC clusters.

Auto- sync is triggered every 8 hrs ,did not try the LDAP  directory config >full-sync option in CUC yet. Will perform during a change window and let you know.

Could you share the impact of doing a full sync on a specific CUC cluster. Will is also sync users configured in other clusters that are in their business hrs.?

Regards,

GK

Go to the LDAP directory configuration and click Save button to ensure you get no error, this will confirm that the credentials, etc. are still good.

Make sure the users are in OU covered by the search base.

Make sure users have last name defined as required.

Make sure you don't have LDAP filter that might exclude these users.

If manual sync does not do the job and all above don't apply, you can review the logs for clues on what's wrong with those accounts.

Go to the LDAP directory configuration and click Save button to ensure you get no error, this will confirm that the credentials, etc. are still good.--Done, , successfully saved, no errors

Make sure the users are in OU covered by the search base.- Yes,

Make sure users have last name defined as required.- Yes ,

Make sure you don't have LDAP filter that might exclude these users.-- LDAP filter is the common for all three clusters, no issues here.

Performed a full sync on LDAP directory config page but no success.

Ideas??

Issue got resolved after changing LDAP port to 3268 and running a full sync from cm.

The connectivity between the LDAP and cm seemed to have been broken. The above step seemed to have reset the connectivity between the two.

I have similar problem. Did u change port number on CUCM : user management-User settings-UC service ?

Does it mean CUC cuse CUCM configuration to connect to LDAP ?
