new install - 2 current problems
PROBLEM1:
users that have mailboxes on the Exchange Server1 are able to be added to unity and access their voice mail.
users that have mailboxes on the Exchange Server2 cannot access their voice mail. The unity system tells the user their mailbox is "Unavailable".
if a voice mail is attempted to be left for a user that resides on Exchange Server2, unity states "Record your message then hang up. Sorry A system error has occured. Please contact your system administrator."
PROBLEM2:
when attempting to import users to unity from exchange, when click "Select Exchange Server", the import window that displays the servers/mailboxes stays blank. Only once out of a dozen+ times has the import window displayed the exchange server/mailboxes.

Hi -
For #1, When you ran the permissions wizard, did you include the information stores from Exchange server 2? Or have you added a new information store on Exchange server 2 since running the permissions wizard?
For #2, I would check with TAC. I believe there is an engineering special for 4.0(4) that corrects the import screen being blank.
Regards,
Ginger

Hi,
Prob#1 - I have seen *excatley* the same thing happen as a result of not selceting the stores on the other exchange box in the PW. Solution was to rerun the PW and include the other stores

problem1:
the exchange2 server users are able to access their voice mail. this began working by itself a short time after forum post. didnt do anything to get it working, i suppose there was a delay in synchronization with the exchang2 server. this is now OK.
problem2:
it seems that when active scanning was enabled on the McAfee 8.0i antiVirus, it hindered this screen from appearing. disabling this feature allowed the screen to appear. (actually mcafee re-enabled this feature automatically and the screen for importing users does not go blank now) hmmm..... this is working OK now.
thank you for your input.
