I have a customer that was upgraded from 4.04 to 4.05 Unity and is using opt. conv #1. They are complaining that the option key 1, to rewind the message 5 seconds is only backing up about 1.5 seconds. They have 'tweeked' they playback speed 30%. Any ideas on how to get Unity to backup playback 5 seconds again like in 4.04?
TIA.. JRezab

Well, there was no change in rewind/forward times - I just tried my new 4.0(5) install and it appears to be jumping around 5 seconds or so as it should - not sure why they'd be seeing only 1.5 seconds - I haven't heard any other reports like that.

I tried it on my system here in the lab also and it worked fine. Could it be that they have increased the playback speed by 30%? If they are going 'back' 1.5 seconds in high speed, that would be approx 5 seconds in normal speed. Could that be it ?

Hmmm... I doubt it since it's tranlsating 5 seconds into X bytes and jumping that far forward/back in the file stream - but I didn't test that specifically - I'll try it when I'm back in the office tomorrow to be sure.

Well, took it for a complete spin this morening and the jump back/forth times are consistent at around 5 seconds in all cases. I sped up the prompts (which has no effect on message playback, but you never know), sped up the message playback, slowed both down and in all cases jumping ahead and back jumped consistently around 5 seconds.
Not sure what they're seeing (or think they're seeing) but it's not due to a deliberate product change or changed behavior due to prompt speed features in 4.0(5).

Thanks for this information. I wasnt seeing it in my lab / test environment. Wanted to make sure there was not a known problem.
