Afternoon all,
I wish to relocate an old Unity server of ours to a new location which involves changing the IP address, subnet and default gateway of the physical server.
The CUCM cluster integration with Unity will remain the same. Also, the subscriber accounts will also remain the same.
Will I be ok to change the NIC card settings and reset the voicemail ports without too much disruption? Is there anything else I need to consider?
Thank you kindly.
Regards,
Jamie

Also check to make sure this server is not Voicemail only setup. If it is, you will have many windows problems. The IP is linked to Exchange, DNS, AD, etc within the system. If the Unity server is a member server, the document above will work fine. You will need to reboot the system like any MS Windows server once you change the IP address. Unity after reboot will connect CUCM and register the ports again (if you are using SCCP for VM ports)
