Hello everyone,
I've a client running Standalone Unity Server 7.0 Build 7.0(2).
AD: 2008
Exchange: 2007
Client deleted the EA_Admin account and restored it back. Since then, they are not able to add/delete any subscriber. Following message is populated on the SA web page when trying to add a subscriber.
*****************************************
An Unrecognized error 0x8004480E has occurred.
E_AV_DC_DOMAIN_NEEDS_RESYNC
The new subscriber was not successfully added.
*****************************************
Unity services are all started, voice-mails are working fine. DC/GC connectivity tests are successfull. No errors in event viewer.
I saw this post advising me to make registry changes and run the message store configuration wizard.

Can anyone validate it, or has any other recommendations for me?
thanks,
Kapil

Kapil,
I researched through TAC case database & I'd suggest you to open a TAC case as the remedies mentioned at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a0080b12914.shtml were just not enough in several customer cases. They also needed a patch from Microsoft as AD 2008 is involved.
There are several reasons for this issue. Please identify the right one with help of Cisco TAC.

Hello all,
I contacted TAC on this. Anyone else looking for the resolution:
Advised to apply patch on all 2008 R2 DCs and reboot them as per microsoft kb article 977180.
The same information could also be found from

Thanks,
Kapil
