Unity 9.1 and ESXI 6.x compatibility

Good day,

We are planning to upgrade unity connection from 9.1 to 12.5

currently Unity 9.1 is hosted on esxi version is 6.0

We wish to upgrade esxi to version 6.5

we know UC 9.1 is not compatible with esxi 6.5, however if we should upgrade the esxi to v6.5 with the current UC v 9.1, will we still be able to boot in to unity 9.1 and upgrade it from there? or do we have to do a fresh install to UC v12.5 on the new esxi v6.5?

You can upgrade the Vm to 6.5 and then upgrade the Unity to 12.5.
