Unity Connection 10.5.2 SMTP Address setup

Is there a way to setup users in Unity to use their "first.lastname" in the SMTP Address field? A client is wanting it to show as their email address and not as their alias@SMTPdomain. This field is also named "MailName" if you do a Bulk Administration>Export>Users With Mailbox. We have already updated all current users through the bulk update, we would like to know if it is possible to setup on a template or another way.

I don't think there is any way to automate this option proactively (using smtp address as firstname.lastname@smtpdomain) using any template or query.
Automated Design is to take alias@smtpdomain as default SMTP address.
