Running Unity server 11.5.1.16900-16 my SMTP relay server sees unity connection trying to email a user that doesn't exist anywhere in my infrastructure.
The user was deleted months ago from CM and vm account on unity was also deleted. Searching for remains of account have turned up nothing.
It is occurring every 3 mins. Uconn tries to email a non-existent user.
SMTP notification to other users is working correctly. no issues.
Suggestions?

Not sure if you have already tried, but you can search for any SMTP address that are already configured in Unity connection. Navigate to Tools->SMTP Address Search and give the email address to which Unity connection is trying to send email. If it is still configured in system, then you will find it.

nope, no such user.
This users profile "SDon" "sending" the message was deleted 6 months ago. It's nowhere in the system I can find or see.
