Hello,
I recently did an upgrade from 11.5 to version 15. CUCM went fine (pub and all subs are online). Unity connection, the subscriber won't pass validation. I've tried 2 times so I'm thinking of doing a subscriber rebuild. However, I'm unable to delete the offline subscriber.
When I click delete selected, I get this error "error.security.msg.cross"
Is there a way to remove the subscriber via CLI? I looked at "unset network cluster subscriber details" but the documentation isn't very good.
"This command shows the message that you need to delete a subscriber node from the GUI instead of the
command prompt."

The imported subscriber failed to validate, and the customer wanted the host name changed anyway so I needed to remove the old one and rebuild a new subscriber. The issue above is trying to remove the OLD sub. I found a work around is to click on the server you want to remove and then click delete. I was using the check box and selecting delete which resulted in the error screen shot above.

You do not need to remove the subscriber from this list before you do the rebuild as long as you install the new one with the same name. That’s also a requirement for a restore from DRS, the name of the subscriber needs to be the same as the original one.

A rebuild implies IMHO that you restore the data from a backup to a newly installed server. What you did is a build of a completely new server and that makes a restore of a backup not being a possible option. It might be semantics, but wording is important when it comes to our availability to provide assistance. No one outside of those with system accessibility can act on anything else than on the basis of provided information and if the information is somewhat ambiguous it’s hard to provide adequate support.
