Unity Express licensing and future replacement

I hadn't worked on my Cisco phone system for a while, and the trial licenses on the unity express module have expired.  I bought this used.  What licenses do I need to just have a couple of voicemail mailboxes working on there?  Mailbox and port both?  I also see that there's an end of support date for Unity Express; what is the replacement product?

CUE license are Not Orderable. you can reinstall the CUE and use trial again.

Unity connection will be the replacement for CUE.

Okay, you mean completely erase the OS and reinstall that, then reenter the configuration?

That could be the only option for you as these are EOL product.

Have you tried activating the CUE licenses using the below procedure:
