Having Exchange installed 'on-box' is not supported with 4.0 in a UM configuration. This doesn't explain the cause but rather than troubleshoot it you probably should move to a supported configuration.

Thanks,

Keith

We only use Exchange for Unity and have it in writing from Cisco that our configuration is okay. We will not be moving Exchange off box.

Are you pointing the UNITY to the correct DNS server -> it should be one of the domain controllers that has AD-integrated zone? Do you have any Netlogon errors/warnings in the sytem logs?

It is pointing to the correct DNS server which is also one of the domain controllers.

There are no Netlogon errors/warnings in the system log.
