Unity to CUCM transfers- delayed audio at start of call

Hello,

cucm and cuc both version 10.5.2.13039-1. For incoming calls, the main line DiD for the client points to an auto attendant on Unity where the caller would then dial the extension of a user. The calls ring through fine but when the user picks up the phone and the call is set up, a half second of audio is dropped so instead of hearing "Hello, this is xxx" the caller hears "-is xxx". Another unused DiD was tested to ring directly to a phone on the inside. The issue does not exist when bypassing Unity. Is there some delay parameter I'm missing, or perhaps a trunk setting is the cause?
