Hi all,
I'm installing a clean installation of unity 4.2(1), I've retried this installation three times now, and I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light.
I get "Failed loading the MiuRegistry componet. Error 0x80070005 Access is denied."
This occurs at the "Integrate the phone system with cisco unity" part of the installation.
I'm guessing its a windows permissions error, but everything on the permissions wizard looks fine. I've tried factory shipped cd permissions wizard as well as the latest version from ciscounitytools.com, I was hoping that it would make a difference...
Any advice?
Tia,
-Fred

Hi -
I found this KB on Cisco - http://www.ciscotaccc.com/kaidara-advisor/voice/showcase?case=K11648085
You should be using the Unity install account. If you are, make sure this account is a member of the local Administrators group on the Unity server. As per the instructions, I would try rerunning the Services wizard. The accounts listed here should all be members of the server's local Administrators group.
