Hi,
we are planning to upgrade from UCM 10.5 to last 10.5 patch release.
We can do this during some days, a day for publisher upgrade, another day for subscriber upgrade step.
How many time, without any changes, can elapse between node upgrade?
I mean,
how long time can we keep this mismatch version between publisher and subscriber?
During this upgrade process, the IP-phones, will keep on working regularly?
Of course without make any change or phone migration...
Thanks!

There is no limit, but that's definitely not the best practice because as you mention, since the versions will not be the same, there will be no replication between the servers, and you won't be able to change anything.

Hi,
perfect,
so I can confirm to customer that we can perform this upgrade in two steps and, during these,
no changes/moving can be applied on the cluster.
But all phone will continue to work correctly.
Thanks!

Hi,
we've updated pub node, but now, with sub at previus version,
it seems that phones registered to pub doesn't call others phones registered to
sub node.....It possible this situation...?
We must upgrade subscriber now...???
Thansk!

Yes, the best practice is that all phones should be in the the SUBs, and not in the PUB.
What you're seeing right now is expected, as the SDL layer which is used to place calls, is down due to the version mismatch.

Hi,
in fact, after yesterday (urgent...) sub update, all phones returned to work fine....
Good to know before.....
Thanks.
