I apologize if this has already been asked but none of the posts that I found were the same scenario as ours.
We are running Unified Messaging with Unity 4.0(3) on Exchange 2000. All mailboxes are stored on our one-and-only corporate mail server running Exchange 2000 (the Unity server does not have a message store).
We want to upgrade the corporate mail server to Exchange 2003 (same hardware, same Win2000 OS).
Will the Unity Server still be able to access the mailboxes after the upgrade? What steps must we take to make this happen?
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions!

All you need to do is upgrade the Exchange System Manager from the Exchange 2000 version to the Exchange 2003 version and restart (probably reboot) Unity. After that Unity will be able to talk to Exchange 2003 servers.
Thanks,
Keith

Thank you very much!
Is there any reason or urgency to upgrade the Unity Server to Exchange 2003 after this? If so, where do I get the Exch 2003 media - Cisco or Microsoft?
Thanks again - we really appreciate the help!
