Hello guys,
I have a user that is having trouble with his voicemail notifications on Outlook 2010.
They come from: unityconnection@intuslywa1vm01
He gets an error message when trying to retrieve these messages stating that this is not a valid e-mail address like someone@domain.ext Therefore it does not process the request to take the e-mail with the voicemail message back to the inbox.
Any tips on what I could do to help this user out?
Thank you!
Cheers.

Hi Gustavo,
On CUCAdmin you can find the SMTP settings, there you can set the domain that will be used by CUC. You can try setting that to a valid domain.

Thank you!
I'll give that a try and let you know if it works.
Cheers!

Does changing this affect the license installed on the system? Right now ours is set to be user@servername.child.root.pri but would like to change it to our company external domain (a .com address)

Hi Aaron,
Changing this will not have an impact on licensing.

What would you set this as? (assuming I'm from cisco)
cisco.com or ucserv01.cisco.lan

Typicially you would set this to match your domain(mycompany.com) or internal domain name(mycompany.internal)
This all depends on your DNS/AD configuration.

Justin
