I am trying to figure out how "dateTimeStamp" is populated for the CMR records. Based on the official documentation, it is the estimated time when the phone went on-hook; which means when the call is terminated. This means it should be the same or close to the "dateTimeDisconnect" field in the CDR record.
However, based on what I read on this forum, in order to join CDRs and CMRs, one needs to assume that "dateTimeStamp" in CMR should be the same or at least close to the "dateTimeConnect" field in CDR. If that is true, it would mean that CMR's "dateTimeStamp" field is inherited from the time device goes off-hook, not on-hook.
Can someone please shed some light to this for me.
Thanks,

What do you mean by "join" CDR and CMR? If you're trying to correlate them, just use the globalCallID_callId field. This should allow you to tell what CMR goes with which CDR, as the callid is the same in both records.

Thank you Mason. I am still trying to figure out what "dateTimeStamp" fields means in a CMR record. Is it the time when the call starts or ends?
Thanks
