PLM is version 10.5 & Unity connection is version 11.0. Current status for Unity connection in PLM is "Unrecognized license type". Because of this error, I am not able to add any user to the unity connection. Everything is working fine for the existing users. Any known version mismatch issues..?? Thanks.

{+5} to Jaime.
I think what Jaime is saying could be the issue.

Thanks everyone. After updating the license defintion file, this error is no more seen. But I am facing the insufficient license issue.
After applying the license definition file, I got the Basic Messaging (11.x) license type and all the current Unity connection users are shown under this category. It is showing as insufficient license.
But I have enough number of CUWL Profession Messaging (10.x) & CUWL standard messaging (10.x) license. Do I need to migrate the CUWL messaging license to 11.x. I tried manually migrating using PLM. But it says that there are no migratable license for unity connection. Any help or pointers. Thanks.

Can u share the snapshot from PLM for license usage?
Did u place the order for UCXN upgrade through PUT and did u get any PAKs?

I dont have all the details on the reason for the upgrade and how the upgrade was done. It was done by some one and I just got involved.
Customer has noticed the issue few days before as he was not able to add any users due to license violation. I am trying to fix the problem.
CUCM is currently running 10.5 and same with PLM.
Only CUC is running 11.0.
I just confirmed that the inactive partition of CUC is running 10.5. There is no specific reason to keep CUC in 11.0 as of now. Hence I am planning to switch version to 10.5 to fix this issue.
Is there any precaution to be taken while switching version of CUC. How much time it will take to switch version.

this means CUC11 was running in Grace period and now that period got expired, customer was not able to add/delete/edit.
You can do the switch version but changes made in CUC 11 won't reflect in CUC 10 .
those changes again need to be done in CUC10.
You can ask customer if any such order was placed for Unity Connection upgrade 11

I have successfully done the switch version. All the PLM issues are resolved. Licenses are showing as compliance in PLM as well in UC. But I am getting the below error in UC administration page and the calls to voice mail are not getting answered.
"Cisco Unity Connection cannot answer calls. A license violation has occurred. To review licenses, go to the System Settings > Licenses page in Cisco Unity Connection Administration."
I am yet to do "utils dbreplication reset all". Is this mandatory. My db replication status looks fine as below.
