What is the maxium distance for analog FXS ports?

Hello,

I have a customer that has phones that are 2.2 miles away on their campus.  We're positioning a C3945-112FXS gateway .  Will the FXS ports support a phone at this distance?  What is the max distance it can support?

That 'may' work, but is already outside specifications.

the regular FXS are made on-premise se only. the VIC3-2EXFS allows a longer disyance
