61** FI Expantions Modules

does anyone know on a 6140 (or 20) can the 10gig ethernet expantion modules connect to the IOM in  the chassis? or are they dedicated for upstream network  connectivity?

I am almost positive that the expansion module is used only for norhtbound connections not server (IOM) acces ports.

The ports on the expansion module can only be used as uplink ports and not the server ports i.e. to connect to IOM.
