Hello,

Storage Design
Existing IP-based storage, such as network-attached storage (NAS) or Internet Small Computer Interface (iSCSI) storage, can be integrated with a Cisco Nexus 9000 fabric. Currently, Fibre Channel and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) are not supported on the Cisco Nexus 9000 platform; however, this section show how they can be designed alongside the Cisco Nexus 9000 platform and evolve with added features. Refer to the Cisco website for updates on future support for FCoE N port virtualization (NPV). Customers who prefer to have separate, dedicated storage connections from each server can cable the storage connections to their physical storage network, and cable the production IP LAN connections to the Nexus 9000s.
HTH,
Wes
