adding second PSU to ucs C220 M5SX

i have a business edition 6000 C220 M5SX and i need to add a second PSU to it , will inserting the second PSU cause the UCS to restart or cause any sort of live service effect?

The power system in the C series is designed to have HA/Failover, and is hot swap.

You can add the additional PSU live.

Make sure you are adding the same voltage source (i.e. 110 for both, or 220 for both).

This should not cause any issues as PSU are hot swappable, however, would recommend conducting this during a maintenance window.
