Additional Drives for a C210m2

Hello All,

I am looking to add 6 additional drives to an already existing C210m2 chassis that currently has 10 146GB drives already in use.  I am trying to find out what the process is to add those additional drives and the space they provide to either an already existing datastore or a completely new datastore.

TIA

Tony

Hi Tony, The easiest way to do this is if you create a new raid volume using the the Webbios utility of the raid controller ( search in google for the following doc "LSI MegaRAID SAS Software User Guide-Cisco" ). In the same document you will find more information about extending the existing raid volume.

Thank you Manuel.  I will certainly give this a try and let you know.  Thanks again.
