We are using a C220 M5 with a VIC 1387, with two QSFP-4SFP10G-CU3M breakout cables. These are cabled with all 4 ports from the one breakout cable into one switch, as such:
Port0-breakout1-4 - switch 1
Port1-breakout1-4 - switch 2
The uplink switches in this case are a pair of Nexus 3548s.
What should the switch configuration look like? There is a post here that references configuring into a vPC.
We were hoping to have an LACP port-channel per 4x10Gbps, not a vPC, with a number of vNICs presented on top of these to VMware.
However when I have attempted to configure the 4 ports into an LACP channel on the switch I receive no operational members. There doesn't seem to be any other configuration option in the CIMC other than choosing either 40Gbps or 4x10Gbps admin speed.
