Hello all,
I`m new to the hardware architecture and I am hoping to get some clarity from this community.
We have a C220 M6N with 6 NVME drives on it and 4 additional empty slots. We need to add more storage capacity to the server and I am wondering if I can simple purchase additional drives and slide them in OR if there are additional requirements around the RAID Controller "NVMe-direct-U.2-drives"?

The spec sheet is the best place to reference when adding additional disks to ensure that you are installing supported disks and there are no limitations or anything like that with your specific server model:
