Hi we have some 30 Cisco C240M5 hosts in which we want to configure for the use with DPM in VMware.
We configured a central IPMI user/pass in UCS 4.0 and added that User/Pass/IP/MAC in vmware to all the hosts, after that tested them 1by1 by hitting manually the "stand-by" in vmware and "Power on" again. What bios setting from the C240M5 (in UCS ) is responsable for communicating with Power management and taking the benifit of power management to create a Green DC.
From my pov. i think we missed a bios setting but i can be wrong. Who has DPM working in their DC.
