CIMC Active Directory Integration Failing

I am using a CIMC version 1.4(3k) on a UCS C210 M2. I am attempting to use AD authentication but failing. I am not trying to use SSL at the moment so it shouldn't be a certificate issue. I have extended the AD schema and edited the user attributes based on my understanding of the builtin documentation but the authentication is still failing. I don't seem to get much value out of the logs in the CIMC either.

What can I do to troubleshoot this? I see a lot more advanced configuration guide for UCS manager but this environment doesn't use that and all the settings are different. Right now I don't even know which aspect is failing and I'd like to narrow down if I have a value incorrect on the AD settings page of the CIMC or if something in AD is not configured correctly.

Thanks.

Hello ,

Can you please revisit AD configuration ( UCS custom attribute configuration and CIMC AD configuration ) as per following doc ?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/gui/config/guide/1.4.1/b_Cisco_UCS_C-Series_GUI_Configuration_Guide_141_chapter_0111.html#concept_AC4EC4E9FA3F4536A26BAD49734F23D0

Regarding CIMC logs, logs from sourced from PAM would be of interest for this topic.

Padma
