CIMC-E SNMP / Hardware Monitoring?

Hello all,

I am having a very difficult time trying to figure out a way to enable some sort of hardware monitoring on older generation Cisco Integrated Management Controller Express systems.

Here's what we're running:

Product (FRU) Number: C3900-SPE100/K9

Documentation is very limited, here's all I have found: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/services_modules/cimce/1-0/configuration/guide/CIMCe.html#wp1167381

"You can also choose to generate and send an alert when a platform event occurs. Alerts are sent as an SNMP trap, so you must configure an SNMP trap destination before the alerts can be sent"

I am seeing mixed reviews saying SNMP is and isn't possible.(https://communities.cisco.com/community/developer/data-center/virtualization/service-ready-engine-virtualization/blog/2014/03/18/limitations-of-tracking-hardware-events-in-sre-v)

The Cisco documentation I've found does not show how to enable SNMP, the CIMC-E web interface does not show any options.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to monitor hardware of these older systems, even if it's 3rd party?

https://marketplace.cisco.com/catalog/products/1630 (Not sure if this would be applicable?)
