Cisco B200 M4 Blade Servers - Won't power on

Ran into some issues trying to install 8 x B200 M4 blades into UCS-5108 chassis.  I am sure we are just overlooking something simple but not sure what we are missing.  We are plugging into 2 x 220V or 240V…

Cicso UCS-5108/ UCS B200 M4 troubleshooting

Problem - Blade servers will not power on after being installed into the chassis.

Currently have 2 power supplies plugged in and the entire systems receives power but none of the blades are turning on. Unsure if it's a power configuration issue. When installed the blade server will show an Amber hardware check light that will blink green while testing and then turn solid green when HW passes tests, power button stays amber.

Tried -

Reseating CPU/Memory

Replacing CPU/Memory

Swapped to new blade

Swapped to new chassis

Holding down power button/Reset button

Used minimal configuration (1 Cpu, 1 Mem)

Any ideas or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

What is your power policy is UCSM? Its possible you are not allocating enough power to turn on the blades.

You can try to change your power policy to non-redundant and see if you are able to power any blades on.

We are using 2 of these power supplies.

Will check the power policy in our UCSM
