Dear Team,

i wanted to add my UCS servers in cisco prime infrastructure 3.X.

As per documentation it is possible.

As what i understand i can add Vmware and CIMC is possible but is there any license requirements?

Trying to understand the requirement, you like to Monitor PI appliance ? or PI installed on VMWARE ?

Hi 

Cisco Prime Infra has feature to Monitor Compute devices. So we basically we can integrate CIMC and VMware Exsi of Cisco UCS to get the details.

I tried to integrate Vmware Exsi it was able to log in but not able to fetch the VM machines.

Just wanted to understand is there any limitation or any license requirement for the same??

"You must install a Data Center Hypervisor license to collect vCenter server inventory information. For instructions on how to add this license, see Licenses and Software Updates chapter in Cisco Prime Infrastructure Admin Guide."

I am assuming it is licensing requirement related issue.
